Taylor Blinn to Run the 2018 Boston Marathon for the Hopkinton Public Library!
My name is Taylor Blinn and I am honored to be running the 122nd Boston Marathon to support the Hopkinton Public Library. I am by no means a long-distance runner, but completing the 26.2 mile trek from Hopkinton to Boston is a feat I would like to accomplish. I have begun my training and I’m looking forward to the challenge of completing one of the most prestigious marathons in the world.
As a father of two young boys, I feel it is important they have necessary resources available to them to expand their knowledge and imagination. The completion of the Hopkinton Public Library’s Restoration, Renovation and Expansion was beyond my expectation and now provides this resource to our children. Our town library is state-of-the-art while still keeping the look and feel of a quaint, small town. I am excited to have the opportunity to complete two goals; run my first marathon and support our town library. Thank you to the Hopkinton Library Foundation for giving me this opportunity.
